Netis WF2419R is one of the most popular budget routers on the market. And not only among Netis devices. The still popular Netis WF2419 (without R) is still on sale. The only difference between these two models is that the WF2419R has IPTV support. And this model is a little more expensive. Literally $ 1. The approximate cost of this router is $ 16.
For this $ 16, we get a fairly powerful and fast router that will be suitable for a home, apartment, and even a small office without any problems. The control panel can be distinguished separately. It is simple and in Russian. I think there will be no problems with the setup. Later I will prepare detailed instructions for configuring this router.
Few characteristics: Wi-Fi network speed up to 300 Mbps. The speed of WAN and LAN ports is up to 100 Mbps. Two 5dBi antennas. IPTV support. And of course, support for all modern protocols, standards and functions. All characteristics of Netis WF2419R can be viewed on the official website.
Also, WF2419R can be used not only in router mode. It can work without problems as an access point, repeater (I wrote about setting in this mode here), adapter (client), WDS and connect to the provider in WISP mode.
Netis WF2419R Brief Overview
The router is delivered in a beautiful, nice and informative box, which you can see in the photo above. The box contains a lot of information about the device itself, a description of the buttons and ports, and even a connection diagram. All information is in Russian.
The set includes the router itself, a power adapter, a network cable and instructions.
The router is made of white and black plastic. Nice to the touch. The build is good. There are ventilation holes on the sides and bottom. On the front panel there is a Netis logo and indicators that light up green.
Ports and buttons are all gathered in one place, on the back of the router. There you can see 4 LAN ports, 1 WAN, a connector for connecting a power supply and two buttons: WPS and Default (to reset the settings). For some reason, they did not sign it Reset, as they usually do.

What else I want to add: there are special holes at the bottom for attaching the router to the wall. But there are no rubber feet to keep the device stable on the tabletop. In budget models, they are usually never made.
Opinions from the Netis WF2419R
On the topic of reviews about routers that users very often leave in various online stores and on other sites, I'm going to write a separate article. The fact is that in order to write a more or less honest and adequate review, you need at least a little understanding of the topic of routers, Wi-Fi, etc., and at least a month to actively use the router itself.
I read reviews about Netis WF2419R in an online store - well, they sometimes write such nonsense. And this applies to absolutely all routers and not only.
What exactly about WF2419R. My review. I didn't notice any problems. Everything connects, configures and works. True, I have no experience with long-term use of this router. Perhaps some problems would appear during operation, but judging by the feedback from other users, there is nothing like that. Do not forget that this is still a budget option. If you need a high speed wireless connection (there are many nuances here) and stable operation of the router under any load, then you need to buy a router that is at least 5 times more expensive than this model.
I have read a lot of reviews, analyzed it, and I cannot single out any specific drawback. The router has been on the market since 2014. The manufacturer has already completed and corrected a lot. Also, the software is being finalized all the time, which must be updated. And one more tip: the latest firmware versions have a timed reboot function. I advise you to configure it. And then your router will reboot itself at the specified time. This is a very nice feature that can improve the stability of your router. Especially budget models.
