Used to share WiFi to devices via laptop using the MyPublicWiFi app. A couple of days ago, Windows was automatically updated to version 10. Now when I distribute WiFi on the phone it says: Connected, No Internet.

P.S. reinstalling the application did not help, other applications write the same way.

Answer

Reinstalling MyPublicWiFi and trying to start the distribution through other programs did not work, since the problem is not in the programs, but in Windows 10 itself. There are such problems after the update. Most likely, such problems with the distribution of Wi-Fi via the command line, or special programs due to the function of the mobile hotspot.

Although, if your Wi-Fi distribution via MyPublicWiFi works, but the phone simply does not have access to the Internet, then it is quite possible that the matter is in the Internet sharing settings.

First, check your sharing settings. Open (or disable and reopen) Internet Sharing in the properties of your Internet connection, for the connection "Local Area Connection * (some number here)".

If you do not have a high-speed Internet connection (when you need to start the connection), then you can try to distribute Wi-Fi via a hotspot.

It may not work through the hot spot. In this case, I recommend resetting the network settings (just in case, you can try without this procedure) and distribute the Internet via the command line using this instruction. No MyPublicWiFi or other software. I think in this case they are superfluous, and only confuse you.

It is also advisable to check Internet access on other devices. Perhaps the phone has "Connected, No Internet" for some other reason.
