Internet over Wi-Fi is unstable on Intel Compute Stick (Windows 10)

Good afternoon! The problem is this:

There is a TP-Link TL-WR740N Wi-fi router. Has been working for 3 years. Until now, Iphone, iPad and Macbook have been connected to the network. Everything worked very quickly and stably. Now I decided to purchase an Intel Compute Stick with Windows 10 installed on it, mainly for watching movies and surfing the Internet. The Internet on this device refuses to work normally. The speed is constantly jumping, or the connection completely disappears. I tried to register Google's DNS addresses, it does not solve the problem much. After restarting the router, the speed appears, but after a while it disappears again. Everything works great on poppies and iPhones. How to solve the problem?

Good afternoon. You wrote:

How do you notice these jumps in internet speed? When the connection is lost, what is the connection status? It's just that the problem is very ambiguous.

I don't have an Intel Compute Stick, but I think that the problem with Wi-Fi there is no different from other computers on Windows 10. The first thing I would do is connect the Intel Compute Stick to another Wi-Fi network. I checked how it will work. Another option: maybe Intel Compute is installed too far from the router, and such problems with Wi-Fi are due to a poor signal.

If it turns out that the problem is in this compact computer (Windows 10), then you need to try updating the Wi-Fi adapter driver. Or replace it from the list of already installed ones. More details here.
