WiFi speed dropped suddenly on Samsung phone

Samsung Samsung Galaxy J3 SM-J320F phone.

Until a few days earlier, everything was in order with the device itself, network connection and so on.

Without any particular reason, the speed dropped significantly, but only on this device and a wifi connection (there are no corresponding viruses, the mobile network is in perfect order, the device is also normal in other parameters, and yes, on other devices via cable and wireless network with speed everything is within the normal speed from the provider).

Previously, approximately in the region of ~ 20-40 Mbit / s, the phone was accurately received, but now this is the result (attached screen), it ranges from 0.4 to 1 and that is quite unstable. Practically nothing is inconvenient to do, I ask for your help, maybe there is a solution ...

The speed from the provider is ~ 100 Mbit / s, on other connected devices it receives normally

Answer

And the speed on other devices has definitely not dropped? What is the Wi-Fi speed on other devices? I just have not heard of such problems that the speed drops only on one phone. Usually the router fails. But speed suffers on all devices.

Go through each item:

  • Check if mobile internet is disabled on your Samsung Galaxy J3. It's too bad you didn't take a screenshot of the entire screen.
  • Make sure it is connected to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Make sure your phone is not configured with a VPN connection.
  • Try connecting your phone to a different Wi-Fi network and measure the speed of your Internet connection.
  • Reboot your phone.
  • Reset the network settings in the Samsung smartphone settings and reconnect to your wireless network.
