In the last article, we connected our TV to the Internet, and in this manual I will tell you in detail how to connect a wireless or wired mouse and keyboard to a modern LG TV. I already wrote that without an Internet connection, the Smart TV function is almost meaningless. So, you can't really work in it without a keyboard and mouse. You can still control the system itself with the remote control, but typing is a torment. And the mouse is much more convenient and faster to work with Smart TV, and not only on LG TVs.
Of course, if you have a proprietary LG Magic Remote, then this saves the situation a little, although typing with it is not very convenient. Therefore, if you are actively using the smart functions of your TV, then it is better to connect a keyboard and mouse to it. Better yet, a wireless keyboard and mouse. LG TVs don't seem to have any major problems supporting these devices. Everything works like a clock.
I will show using the Rapoo E9270p 5GHz Wireless Ultra-Slim keyboard and Rapoo 3710p mouse as an example. We will connect all this stuff to the LG 32LN575U TV. The model is still 2013. I think that on newer TVs there should be no problems. Again, there will be an opportunity, I will try to connect to a newer TV. In addition to the Rapoo mouse, I also tried to connect an Asus mouse. Everything worked great. Everything is fine with wired devices.
Connecting a mouse and keyboard to your LG TV
Everything is much simpler than it might seem at first glance. We take the adapter from the mouse, or keyboard, or both (as in my case) and connect them to the USB connector of our TV.
At this moment, messages should appear on the TV that new devices are connected. These messages disappear very quickly from the screen.
That's all :) The connected mouse or keyboard should already work. Turn on Smart TV and check. A cursor should appear on the TV screen.
