After connecting the laptop and setting up Wi-Fi, other devices stopped connecting

Hello! Recently I reinstalled the laptop, then I wanted to turn on the Internet and installed Wi-Fi on the laptop. That is, when installing the network, I wrote an 8-digit number there, which I looked at on the sticker of the router. The Internet started working right there on the laptop, but on Android, Wi-Fi turned off. On a laptop, the Wi-Fi name used to be TP-LINK_48458, and now ADMIN-PC_Network. And even if I enter the password that I found in the settings, Wi-Fi does not connect on hundred parts. And by the way, before Wi-Fi worked, I had open access.

Answer

Hello! I figured out your problem. Indeed, when you connect your computer to an unconfigured router, it offers to configure a Wi-Fi network. Set network name and password. Which you did. Windows itself set the name of the network "ADMIN-PC_Network". You didn't even enter it.

And other devices, including those on Android, disconnected from the network due to the change in Wi-Fi settings.

You need to go to the router settings through a browser, and set up a Wi-Fi network. Change network name and password. If you want, just turn off the password, make the Wi-Fi network open. But I don't recommend doing that. And then connect your devices to the new network with a new password.

Instructions:

  • Login to TP-Link settings - https://help-wifi.com/tp-link/kak-zajti-v-nastrojki-routera-tp-link/
  • Setting up a Wi-Fi network (change the name of the network) - https://help-wifi.com/nastrojka-wi-fi-setej/nastrojka-besprovodnoj-wi-fi-seti-na-routere-tp-link/
  • Setting a password on Wi-Fi - https://help-wifi.com/tp-link/kak-ustanovit-ili-smenit-parol-wi-fi-seti-na-routere-tp-link/

I think you will succeed.
