When the Internet wire is connected, the globe light is yellow and does not see the Internet, the wire works directly into the laptop, when a friend is connected to a router, the wire works, the router itself restarted, help to solve the problem.

Answer

The orange Internet (WAN) indicator on the TP-Link TL-WR841N router indicates that the router cannot connect to the Internet. Most likely, you just need to configure the router to work with your Internet provider. So that TL-WR841N can connect to the Internet and distribute it to all your devices.

It's a pity that you didn't write what kind of Internet you have, what kind of old router, have you tried to set up a new router, etc.

On this issue, when the internet indicator is orange, I wrote a separate article: https://help-wifi.com/tp-link/pochemu-na-routere-tp-link-indikator-interneta-wan-gorit-oranzhevym/

You need to configure your TP-Link TL-WR841N to suit your ISP. Here is the instruction for this router model: https://help-wifi.com/tp-link/nastrojka-routera-tp-link-tl-wr841n-podklyuchenie-nastrojka-interneta-i-wi-fi/

After configuring the router, the indicator should turn green and the Internet will work.
