I have a very strange problem that I am facing for the first time.
On March 18, in the evening, I noticed the problems of an unstable Internet. How did the problem manifest? I sat in a discord with friends, and at first did not pay attention - I thought, well, it happens. Communicated communicated, abruptly the connection becomes very bad, and then he came to his senses again. This happened every 15-20 seconds. Okay, I think everything will be fine tomorrow, I thought, an isolated incident.
No. From March 18th to today - everything is the same. There is a problem on youtube, in social networks and on other sites, but they are barely noticeable. The problem is very noticeable when you play any online game or sit in the same discord.
Provider - MGTS. And by the way, I would like to say that the router was changed in August of that year. We were told that the network has two lines, or something, in general - GPON and GPON5. On GPON5 they asked to connect mobile devices (iPhones, iPads, etc.), and on GPON - only a computer. And it is interesting to note - the problems of the unstable Internet are only on the computer. We have no problems with the instability of the Internet on any of the mobile devices. Only on the computer.
The connection between the router and the computer is via Wi-Fi, not cable. GPON5 doesn't see (or doesn't recognize, I don't know). Since August last year, after replacing the router, the Internet on the computer, in general, has not caused any global problems. But I have been suffering with the problem for 12 days already.
I called the MGTS operators - they said that everything was clean on their communications and everything should work well. So they didn't really help. They said to update the network card drivers. Due to the fact that I did not know how to update the drivers, I googled, in general, I found where I had to go, I found "Network adapters" - "Realtek Gaming GbE Family Controller" - to update the driver. And it always gave the following - "the most suitable drivers for this device are already installed." Maybe I did something wrong.
I would like to know what could be the reason for such a problem, and how to solve it?

As I understand it, these are two Wi-Fi networks in different 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Since you connect the computer via Wi-Fi to the router and it does not see the "GPON5" network, then most likely the reason is that the Wi-Fi adapter on the computer does not support the 5 GHz band. Of course, if your router distributes a network in the 5 GHz range, then it is better to connect the computer to this particular network (especially for your tasks).
