Hosted network support is "no" in Windows 10, but mobile hotspot works

Good day, I would like to clarify how it is possible to distribute Wi-Fi from a laptop on Windows 10, if, when checking the possibility of this in the command line, the command netsh wlan show drivers in the column "Hosted network support" is "no", and the mobile hotspot in the parameters of the operating system, it turns on and correctly distributes Wi-Fi. I enclose screenshots to confirm my words.

Thanks in advance.

Good afternoon. I understand your question. By the way, I am also interested in him. But only the developers of Windows 10 itself can answer it.

I have also noticed more than once that when checking in the command line the result "Hosted network support" is "no", it is not possible to start the Wi-Fi distribution via the command line (the error could not start the hosted network), and distribution via a mobile hotspot works fine. It seems that the mobile hotspot function does not use the SoftAP support built into the Wi-Fi adapter driver, but works in some other way. Even when sharing wifi via command line doesn't work.

Hosted network support itself most likely disappears after the automatic update of the Wi-Fi adapter driver. Therefore, in Windows 10, I would advise you to disable automatic driver updates altogether. I am planning instructions on this topic. Or this happens after updating the system itself.

I think that the "mobile hotspot" still uses Virtual WiFi technology. But why doesn't it depend on the results in the "Hosted Network Support" line after running the commandnetsh wlan show drivers, I can't tell. Most interesting.

On the other hand, if a hot spot works, then why bother with teams. Is it when the Internet is over PPPoE.
