Hello Sergey. Yesterday I received an answer to my questions from you, thank you. There will be time, I will try everything proposed. There is another question: How can I delete virtual networks created by me via the command line from a laptop for distributing WiFi? I want to try to create a network (so to speak from scratch). The problem is that I tried to launch a virtual network through the program (Switch Virtual Router) in the choice of connection settings, the program gives out (local network connection * 10), and in the network control center the created virtual network is registered as (local network connection * 2). Therefore, I think that the virtual networks I created earlier remain in the system memory, and interfere with the connection, I would like to delete them. Help if possible. Sincerely, Alex.
Answer
Hello. To be honest, I don't think that previously created networks can somehow interfere with setting up Wi-Fi distribution in Windows 10. Even if they are stored somewhere. When we launch a new network, we simply overwrite the old one. It is normal for a "local area connection" to appear in the adapter management with a different number at the end.
About Switch Virtual Router. It is better to start the distribution via the command line already. After all, the program works the same way.
I have not heard about some special command that removes all previously created virtual networks, but most likely it is not. There are commands to clear all network settings. I wrote about these methods at the end of this article. If you want, you can try. Run commands in turn, and / or reset the network through the parameters in Windows 10.
