Browsing the Internet, watching a video, downloading something is no problem. But not simultaneously on multiple devices, and without fanaticism. This must be understood when choosing a router. TP-LINK TL-WR720N gives even more than you expect from it, knowing its modest price. And it costs about $ 14. This was noticed not only by me, but also by the majority of users, whose reviews can be read on various sites.
The TL-WR720N is the cheapest router TP-LINK has. It's great for home use if you just need Wi-Fi internet and network cable. Of the features of this small router, I would single out a good Wi-Fi network signal (thanks to one large external antenna and one built-in one), the ability to create 4 Wi-Fi networks, and support for IPTV. And in order to reduce the load on the router, using the "IP QoS" function, you can limit the speed for each device in the network. It is very easy to understand the "IP QoS" settings. As usual, our review will be very short, but informative 🙂 This is a router, and there is nothing to review for 10 pages of text.
I had a TP-LINK TL-MR3220 router, and so, TL-WR720N, this is its miniature copy. The only difference is in some connectors. The router is made of white glossy plastic. The bottom and antenna are made of gray plastic. The antenna is not removable. The front panel contains the company logo, and indicators for the operation of certain connections and functions.
There is nothing on the sides, and all the connectors and buttons are located on the back of the router. There we have one WAN port, two LAN ports, a connector for a power adapter, and a WPS / RESET button.
It's a pity that there are no rubber feet, but you can hang the router on the wall.
Everything looks very good. And if you remember the price of this router, then everything is just super.
