There are two routers - TP-LINK TL-WR841N and TL-WR740N.

The task: to connect the routers so that the Internet is on the computer and via wi-fi and wi-fi networks are one single network.

The connection goes like this: Entenet cable -> wan (841n) -> lan (841n) -> wan (740n) -> lan (740n) -> computer.

Answer

After connecting TP-LINK TL-WR740N to TP-LINK TL-WR841N according to the scheme that you described, the Internet should immediately work through TL-WR740N. I think it is. True, if the default settings were on the router.

As I understand it, the only task is to make one Wi-Fi network. Since there is no repeater mode on TP-LINK, you can simply try to put the same network name and the same passwords on both routers. Everything should work.

If there are any problems, you can also try connecting the cable to the LAN port on the TL-WR740N, change the IP of the router, and disable the DHCP server on it. I wrote about this in a separate article https://help-wifi.com/sovety-po-nastrojke/kak-router-sdelat-tochkoj-dostupa-wi-fi/. Well, set the same Wi-Fi settings. Devices should automatically switch between routers.
