Hello!

I really ask for help. I got a Samsung UE48J5200A TV with Smart TV function. I can't connect it to my laptop (Asus, Windows 7). Installed Allshare, Smartview, Intel WiDi Remote, PC Manager, etc. Nothing works! When you start any program, it is written that the TV was not detected. Although a laptop is visible on the TV (a shared admin folder and you can even see some pictures). I studied the Wi-Fi settings, indicated general access everywhere. Does not help. In what m. problem?

Thanks in advance!

Answer

Hello. The Wi-Fi settings weren't worth touching, that's not the point. And then there you can "configure". It's strange that the laptop does not see the TV through Allshare. It's kind of a proprietary application from Samsung. And Intel WiDi Remote is not that at all.

If the TV still sees the shared folder of the laptop, then I think that the problem is still in the program through which you tried to configure the DLNA server. I didn’t see the Home Media Server (UPnP, DLNA, HTTP) program in the list. Try using it to launch a DLNA server on a laptop. Here are the detailed instructions: https://help-wifi.com/philips-android-tv/nastrojka-dlna-servera-dlya-televizora-philips-smotrim-filmy-s-kompyutera-na-televizore/ (do not pay attention that I have another TV, it doesn't matter).

If there is an antivirus, disable it for a while.

You can simply not run the movie from the laptop to the TV, but try to open access to the necessary folders and start the movie from the TV.
