- Are there several available Wi-Fi networks (yours and neighboring ones) within the radius?
- Sony PlayStation 4 can't see any Wi-Fi network?
- Have you connected your PS4 to Wi-Fi before?
- Are other devices connecting to your Wi-Fi network?
This is important information.
I can say for sure that if the Sony PlayStation 4 does not see the Wi-Fi network (at the same time, there is a network and other devices are connected to it), then you cannot manually connect it. The connection you are writing about is needed in order to connect to networks with a hidden name (SSID).
