The Huawei dual-band router only distributes WiFi 5 GHz (2.4 GHz is enabled in the settings, but is not detected anywhere). The phone connects to 5 GHz, and the old laptop only supports 2.4 GHz.

I did not change anything in the settings. It started a couple of weeks ago, at first the network disappeared for half an hour, then for more, right now, here are 2 days without an Internet on the laptop.

The router itself displays my laptop in the connected devices list, but the laptop is displayed not connected.

Even the WI FI analyzer shows only 5 GHz.

Answer

I will not recommend anything new or unique. The phone also does not see the network at 2.4 GHz? Or can other devices see it besides the laptop?

In the settings of the Huawei router, check and make sure that the 2.4 GHz network broadcast is enabled. There, in the settings, you can try to change the network channel. Put, for example, a static 6th. Maybe some kind of interference.

Does your router have separate LEDs for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz? Are they blinking?
