From the first try on a network cable everything worked out. But when I set up the network, I write an error 2 times. I went to tplinkrepeater.net. In the articles, I read that the repeater copies the settings of the router, did a reset to the factory settings and set up an automatic IP address on the laptop, nothing happens.

After the reset, if the repeater cable is connected, the laptop blocks the other Internet on the laptop completely. Configurable via mob. application, but it is impossible to set the signal strength. Please tell me how to log into the admin panel from a laptop.

Answer

There is usually no problem entering the repeater settings. I think you have a problem with the second connection. The fact is that when, after resetting the settings, you connect the laptop to the repeater via cable, then the same laptop at this time is most likely connected to the Wi-Fi network from the main router. Windows gives priority to whichever connection has Internet access. Therefore does not go to tplinkrepeater.net. Just turn off Wi-Fi on your laptop. Disconnect completely, or disconnect from the Wi-Fi network. So that there is only a connection to the repeater. Or connect to the repeater's Wi-Fi network from a laptop. The TP-LINK TL-WA850RE admin area should be available at tplinkrepeater.net.

Also after setting. I can assume that the laptop keeps the connection with the router and does not connect to the repeater (the Wi-Fi network is most likely one after setup). Therefore, the repeater web interface does not open. You can go to the settings of the main router, find a repeater in the list of connected devices and go to the IP address that the router assigned to it.
