Hello, I have a big house, I bought 2 TP-LINK TL-WA850RE Wi-Fi amplifiers. The question is: how to properly configure them so that they work together, and not drown out each other? Thanks.

Answer:

Hello. We have instructions on how to configure the TP-LINK TL-WA850RE repeater on our website. If you haven't seen it yet, see if it might come in handy. Although, your question is not just about setting up, but about the effective and correct setting of exactly two Wi-Fi network repeaters.

To be honest, I have not set up two repeaters at the same time, I have not had to. But, there shouldn't be any problems. The main thing is to choose the correct placement of these two TL-WA850RE amplifiers. If you need as many as two repeaters, then you probably have a really large area. This means that in any case, to effectively strengthen the Wi-Fi network, you will install these repeaters on opposite sides of the router. And they are unlikely to overlap, since the range of the Wi-Fi network is not as large as that of a router. And if they do, then nothing terrible will happen. And there will be a drop in speed in any case. This is how lucky, it depends on many factors.

The main thing is to choose the correct placement of these repeaters. So that they maximally cover the required area with a Wi-Fi network, and at the same time, they have a stable reception of a Wi-Fi network from the main router (this greatly affects the speed). And so, just connect them one by one, and configure according to the instructions.
