Good afternoon! The problem is visible from the title. My TV supports DLNA, so I was able to watch online movies with ease. Recently, when you click on the "Guide to Device" feature, Windows Edge looks for Miracast. The computer sees the TV. Tell me how to get DLNA back?

Answer

Indeed, everything worked before. I also wrote an article about this function: broadcasting videos, music and photos from the Edge browser (Windows 10) to the TV. Now I tried to display YouTube videos on my TV - nothing happens. Microsoft Edge browser just won't find my TV. Doesn't see it as a DLNA media output device.

I tried several options - no results. The TV does not appear in the list.

I searched the Internet, and on the official site I found a question with an answer from Microsoft support. Here he is:

It turns out that now it displays content via Miracast / WiDi. DLNA is no longer supported. Starting with update version 1703 (Build 15063.13).

Perhaps this feature will appear in the next updates. In the meantime, it is only advised to roll back the system to version 15063.13.
