The most popular question related to routers is "how to enter the settings?" Therefore, I always try to write detailed instructions for entering the settings for devices from different manufacturers. I recently got acquainted with Mercusys routers, I have already written several reviews and setup instructions that you can find here: https://help-wifi.com/category/mercusys/. In this article I will try to show you, using a real example, how to open the Mercusys router settings at mwlogin.net.
To open the web interface (the settings page, the control panel, the router's website are all the same) we need any device (desktop computer, laptop, phone, tablet) that is connected to the Mercusys router via Wi-Fi, or using network cable. From this device, through the browser, we will enter the router's web interface.
The address where you can open the control panel of the Mercusys router -http://mwlogin.net... You can always see this address (Default Access) from the bottom of the router.
I show with the example of the Mercusys AC12 model. But the instruction is suitable for all devices from this manufacturer. At least on the AC12 and MW325R, everything is identical.
Mwlogin.net: go to the web interface of the Mercusys router
I recommend logging in from a computer or laptop. These devices are more convenient than mobile devices. As I wrote above, our device must be connected to a router. You can use a network cable.
Or connect to a Wi-Fi network. If the router is not yet configured (at factory settings), then the network is not secure. And her name (SSID) is indicated on a sticker on the bottom of the router (you can see the first photo in this article).
After connecting, open an internet browser. You can use whatever you like, but the standard one is better (as a rule, there are fewer settings and additions). In the browser, in the address bar (not in the search bar), go tohttp://mwlogin.net.
If the router has not been configured yet, the quick setup wizard will open immediately. Where you need to specify a password to protect settings, Wi-Fi network parameters and Internet connection.
If necessary, you can skip the quick setup wizard and go directly to the web interface.

After setting the password on the web interface, or if the password has already been set, the authorization page will appear.
After you enter the correct password, a page with settings will open. If you have forgotten the password for the Mercusys router, you need to reset the settings and re-configure (create and enter a new password). Do not confuse this password with your Wi-Fi password.

If the settings do not open, the mwlogin.net page is not available
If the search engine page opens instead of the control panel of the router, then check whether you are entering the address in the browser line. Please use a different browser.
The most common problem is probably when we try to open the mwlogin.net page and access the Mercusys settings, but the message "The page is not available", "The page could not be displayed", "Can't open this page" or something like that appears ...
The reasons and solutions can be very different:
- Be sure to check the connection to the router. The connection status itself may be "without access to the Internet", but the settings should open exactly. Make sure your computer, laptop, or other device is only connected to the Mercusys router. There are no other active connections.
- Try to connect to the router in a different way and preferably from another device. Try accessing http://mwlogin.net with a different browser.
- If the settings of the Mercusys router cannot be opened from any device, reset the settings.
- Try to visit http://192.168.1.1 (read more here).

Personally, I have never encountered any problems related to accessing the web interface of Mercusys routers. Everything opens and works stably. I really like the way these routers have the default settings and the first setup process. There are no factory logins and passwords (admin / admin), as is usually the case on other routers. Many people are often confused about them. We go for the first time into the settings of the Mercusys router and it offers to set a password, which will further protect the control panel.
