Hello !

I re-read and tried all the methods of connecting and setting up wi-fi on your site, but nothing helped.

I use Asus laptop, I don't remember the model ... Windows 10

So, wi fi on my laptop lives its own life, it sometimes starts after a reboot, but while the computer is running, it may turn off and the wifi icon disappears altogether, it may not work for a month and one day it will turn on on its own.

I followed all the instructions on your website, updated the firewood, deleted them manually and reinstalled them, there is no result. And he continues periodically on. And off. By yourself ...

The hike will still have to be carried for repair. What do you say in this case? Wi-Fi then works, sees all the networks, but again periodically ...

Answer

Hello. When Wi-Fi on the laptop no longer works, it is gone, you need to go to the device manager, open the "Network adapters" section and see if there is a wireless adapter there.

It may also be that the contacts on the Wi-Fi module itself somehow come off when the laptop is shaken. Have you noticed that it has something to do with it? Just don't shake your laptop when it's on, you might damage your hard drive.

Configure the power settings as I showed in this article.

Before carrying the laptop for repair, I would reinstall Windows 10 and install the drivers (by the way, are there drivers for your laptop on the ASUS official website for Windows 10?). If Wi-Fi periodically disappears and does not work, then you can already go to the workshop. It is possible that this is a hardware failure of the laptop, or the Wi-Fi module itself.

And another article on this topic: Wi-Fi disappeared on a laptop in Windows. No Wi-Fi adapter in device manager
