Launched the command line, executed the "netsh wlan show driver" command. Total for all parameters wireless display is supported (screen attached).

Saved .txt file from DirectX Diagnostic Tool (screenshots are attached). The file has three lines with the text "Miracast":

  1. Miracast: Available, with HDCP
  2. Miracast: Not Supported by Graphics driver (Under Display Devices / Geforce gtx 980)
  3. Miracast: Supported (Under Display Devices / Intel (R) HD Graphics).

On the 2nd point above - the official driver for the video card was installed last from 02/06/2019 + in those Nvidia support I was told that the discrete video card does not affect the performance of Miracast in any way, and on the Intel website from the listed to the necessary set on the PC for Miracast - there was nothing about a discrete video card.

I don't even know where to "dig" anymore, maybe you know what the problem might be?

Brief info about PC (stationary):

  • Windows 10 64 bit
  • PCI Wi-Fi Adapter - Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter
  • Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V
  • Processor: Intel core i5-3550 3.30Ghz
  • Integrated GPU: Intel (R) HD Graphics 2500
  • Video card: Zotac GeForce gtx 980

Answer

Hello. I don't know why, but you didn't write what the specific problem is. There is no "Connect to Wireless Display" item in the Win + P menu? Or is there, but does not find / does not connect to the TV? That is, according to the instructions, the Miracast Wireless Display (WiDi) in Windows 10 cannot connect. Clarify this point in the comments, otherwise it is not clear which way to think.

The first thing that came to mind was to disable the discrete video card (GeForce gtx 980, which does not support Miracast) in the device manager.
