Let's figure it out in this article with another problem that often appears when connecting to the Internet via a Wi-Fi router. The problem is that the internet connection is lost. There is a Wi-Fi connection, but the Internet does not work. On computers, the connection status is "no internet access", or "restricted" with a yellow exclamation mark.
In fact, there can be many reasons. But, in our case, the Internet appears after restarting the router, and it works again for a while. Then it disappears again.
Everyone who has encountered such a problem knows very well how to reboot the router several times a day, or even several dozen times. All the time, the Internet goes missing at the wrong time. When we watch a movie, download something, or play games. An incomprehensible and unpleasant problem, when it appears, it is simply unrealistic to use the Internet.
As I wrote above, there can be a lot of reasons. To find a solution, first we need to identify the culprit in this situation. This could be:
- Router. If the Internet disappears on all devices at the same time, then most likely he is to blame.
- The device you are connecting: phone, tablet, laptop, etc.
- Internet service provider... Yes, yes, it is possible that the problem is in him.

The most correct way is eliminate problems on the side of the ISP, and the client (the device you are connecting).
To make sure that the Internet is not lost because of the Internet provider, you just need to connect the Internet directly to your computer and do a little work. This is the best way. If even without a router, the Internet will periodically "fall off", then this problem needs to be solved with the provider. If everything works fine, then we look for the culprit further. I can say that such situations are rarely the fault of the provider.
Next, we need to eliminate problems on the side of the device from which we connect to the router. Everything is very simple here. If the Internet disappears simultaneously on all devices, then it is clear that the problem is in the router. Why does the Internet disappear on the router?
As practice shows, most often the Internet is "cut off" on budget routers, and precisely at those moments when the connected devices begin to create some kind of load: watch online videos, download files (especially via torrent), play online games, etc. Or, when new devices are connected to Wi-Fi. For example, everything works well, we connect a smartphone or laptop, and the Internet disappears. We reboot the router and everything works again.

This happens on all inexpensive routers (and on expensive ones too) it all depends on the number of connected devices and how they use the Internet connection.

The router is good, but very often they complain that the connection goes into the "no Internet access" status, and only reboot saves. And even then not for long. What can be done?
Replacing the router with a more powerful one will certainly solve the problem. But not everyone is ready to buy a new device. Therefore, you can try to disable torrent clients if they are installed on your computers. Well, to reduce the load as much as possible: do not start watching videos on several devices at the same time, etc.
