Good afternoon!

Please tell me: I have a fiber-optic Internet connection from the provider to my house, then a cable will be pulled through 8 sockets through a gigabit switch as a star. 2 tp - link routers are connected to the sockets and distribute wifi on floors. A computer and a media player are also connected via cable, and smart TVs, smart phones and tablets via wifi.

The question is - how to organize a local network so that all devices can see each other, and you can watch videos, etc. from a computer on TVs and smart devices?
Earlier, when I lived in another apartment 1, the router was connected to the provider's modem and distributed all the Internet via cable and wifi, and everything worked.

Answer

Good afternoon. Your network is complex, and it's so difficult to remotely advise something on setting up a local network between all devices.

Write what kind of switch model you have.

I think that the local network should already be between the computer and the media player. Which are connected via a switch. And routers, most likely, need to be used in access point mode, then all devices should be on the same local network.
