As I already indicated in the topic, the Internet periodically disappears on a computer connected via a cable.
Tp-link TL-WR841N, consumers are connected to it via wi-fi. There are no big problems, however, sometimes they do not receive an IP address for a very long time ...
But a computer with WinXP, connected by cable, periodically loses the Internet. With the old, this was not observed. It helps to switch the cable to another port (arbitrary, not any specific).
How to overcome the problem?

Good afternoon. It’s bad that you didn’t write exactly how the Internet disappears. What is the status of the connection: without access to the Internet, or the connection is completely lost, as if the cable is not connected.
I would start by updating the TP-Link TL-WR841N firmware. It would be nice to understand what the problem is: in a router, or a PC. You wrote that there were no problems with the old router. It means, most likely, something in the router. Is there no way to connect other devices via cable?
