Faced such a problem, tried to configure the TP-Link TL-MR3420 router, went to the admin panel at 192.168.1.1, decided to turn on dhcp since it was off. I overloaded the router and could not enter this IP address. I did a reset, but it doesn't help. When connected. to the pc issues a message with a connection problem ... IP assigns not 192.168.1.3, for example, but 169.254 ... there is no IP gateway !!! Same problem with Dlink G700AP access point. As I understand it, DHCP has fallen off and the PC does not see the router. Help me to understand.

We need to find out what the reason is. If you reset the settings correctly on the TP-Link TL-MR3420, then the DHCP server is enabled by default. Most likely there is something in the computer. Did you try to enter the TP-Link TL-MR3420 settings from another device?
