Good afternoon.
Maybe you can know what it could be
The essence:
- There is a router: Netis WF2411.
- And such a laptop: Dell Latitude D630
Connected by cable. Don't wi-fi. Speed test 20Mb / sec
But when I upload files, the speed is 200kbyte / sec, but it should be somewhere around 2000kbyte / sec.
Tried different resources.
I tried the same laptop on another network with another D-Link router where the speed is 100 Mbit / s - everything works fine, the speed is 8 Mbit / s, that is, the port is intact.
I don’t understand how to make this laptop with Netis. I would be grateful for any advice.
Answer
Good afternoon. I understand you correctly, do you have a low upload speed when you upload files to the Internet? Write in the comments what and where do you upload, and where do you see the speed?
When checking via Speedtest.net, 20 Mbps, is this upload (upload) speed? It seems to me that the limitation is still on the side of the resource to which you upload the file, so the speed is so low. Or have you tried to upload to the same resource via another network?
Or the weak Netis WF2411 router is guilty.
