Hello, the situation is this: there was a computer with a wired internet connection. An Archer T2UH WI FI adapter was purchased, a wireless access point for home devices (laptops and phones) was created through the command line in Windows 10. Everything worked without interruption.

The other day I updated the components on the PC, reinstalled Windows on the same one as it was, updated the drivers, downloaded all system updates. Wired internet works fine. I also create an access point via the command line, I connect everything in the same way, but after a few minutes the entire network, including the wired Internet, stops working. Troubleshooting says that the DNS server is not responding. The services all work, I tried various drivers for the network adapter available on the computer, tried resetting the network, registered DNS servers from Google, nothing helps. Can you tell me something about this problem?

Answer

Hello. It is unlikely that I will be able to immediately suggest some kind of working solution to your problem, but let's try to figure it out. But first you need to figure out something.

How is the Internet connected to your computer? What kind of connection, PPPoE? It may be possible to distribute the Internet via a mobile hot spot.

How does the internet connection status change? What about the Archer T2UH network card and wireless adapter in the device manager? Do they disappear, or does a yellow exclamation mark (error) appear next to them? How do you restore your internet connection?

Have you installed any new programs? Antivirus?

In the properties of Archer T2UH and the network card in Device Manager, disable the adapter to be disabled to save power. More details at the end of this article.

This sometimes happens when connecting via a 3G / 4G modem. And when the operator blocks the distribution of the Internet. When you start sharing the Internet over Wi-Fi from a computer, the Internet stops working everywhere. But in your case, when the connection is by cable, this is hardly a problem. And everything worked before. And what components have you changed?
