I am vacationing in Italy, there is free Wi-Fi on all streets. after connecting to it, for the Internet to work, you need to register on the network (the button in the notification bar "connect to wi-fay" pops up), in short, like at the airport. So, on my Samsung galaxy s5, this button does not appear at all, no matter which Wi-Fi I connect to. Help solve the problem, please.

Answer

I rarely come across Wi-Fi networks, when connecting to which you need to log in on a separate page. But as far as I know, the authorization page on Android devices opens automatically. Or a notification appears, which can be seen by opening the top curtain.

How does the connection process work on your Samsung Galaxy S5? You select a Wi-Fi network, and the phone connects but the authorization page does not open, or it does not connect? Does the laptop connect to these networks?

Most likely your Android connects to this network. If the browser does not start automatically, then you manually open it, and try to go to any site. You may be redirected to the login page. Or see if there are instructions on how to connect to such Wi-Fi networks in Italy somewhere.
