Hello. Installing the WiFi adapter driver in Windows 7 is no different. But in your case, the problem is that for Windows 7 the manufacturer has not released a driver for the Acer Aspire E5-521G-8022 laptop. I looked on the Acer website, there is only a driver for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
In your case, I would install Windows 10. All the same, the manufacturer recommends this particular system. And everything should work well on it.
If you want to keep Windows 7, you can try to find the driver for the WiFi module by the hardware ID. There is an enter adapter, which is most likely displayed in the device manager on the "Other devices" tab.
