Internet distribution via USB WiFi ZyXEL NWD2105 does not turn on

There is Windows 8.1 connected to the Internet via Ethernet (Realtek adapter). USB WiFi ZyXEL NWD2105.

I installed the utility (version 1.0.0c is written in the settings) and, according to the instructions from the site, I try to set up the distribution: https://kb.zyxel.ru/hc/ru/articles/115002577714

In step 4, you cannot save the "Internet access via" setting. I choose an adapter (it is one in the list), put a daw to go online, I press save. All other settings are saved, except for this checkbox.

Accordingly, when devices are connected to this WiFi, a message is displayed that no network without Internet access.

What else can you do?

At first glance, everything is fine and should work. Why the checkbox "Internet access via" in the utility from the ZyXEL Wi-Fi adapter is not saved - I do not know. I do not have this ZyXEL NWD2105 adapter and I cannot check the operation of the access point launched through the utility.

But I can offer several solutions:

1. If the access point is running, the devices are connected to the Wi-Fi network, which the computer distributes via the ZyXEL NWD2105 USB adapter, then you can try to open the general Internet access manually. Open the "Network Connections" window (Win + R, ncpa.cpl command). Then open the properties of the adapter through which your computer has access to the Internet. Usually this is "Local Area Connection" in Windows 7, or "Ethernet" in Windows 10. If you have a high-speed Internet connection, then you need to open the general access in its properties!
   On the "Access" tab, check the box next to "Allow other users ...". Select from the list the connection that appeared after the virtual Wi-Fi network was launched. This is usually a connection with a number at the end of the name. See screenshot for an example.
   
2. You can generally close / uninstall this ZyXEL wireless adapter utility and configure the access point via the command line. According to this instruction. For Windows 8.1, the instructions are also suitable.
3. Disable your antivirus and firewall.
