The computer did not react in any way to the cable connection, the connection status remained "The network cable is not connected". I immediately thought the problem was with the router. I rebooted it, nothing changed. I changed the network cable, rebooted the laptop, again nothing helped, the Internet did not work. I connected another computer with this cable and the internet started working. So the problem is in the laptop, or rather, something in Windows 10. Let's figure it out.
I immediately went to the device manager to see what happened to the drivers for the network adapter. The driver for the network card Windows 10 installed itself.

Solution
I decided that I needed to reinstall the driver on the network adapter. Updating through the device manager gave nothing. The system wrote that a normal driver was installed, or something like that.
Then, I went to the website of the manufacturer of my laptop, through a search on the site I found my model, and downloaded the driver for the network card there. Be guided by the name of the driver: LAN, Ethernet. I downloaded the archive with the driver, ran the installation file and just installed the driver. The Internet started working immediately.
If you do not find a driver for a network card for Windows 10 (it may simply not be for your laptop or network card), then try downloading the driver for Windows 8, or 8.1. He came up to me.
Here is the solution. Of course, there can be many reasons for such a problem, but my problem was in the driver. Something Windows 10 installed it crookedly. By the way, Windows 10 is not an assembly, but an image downloaded from the Microsoft website.
