If you purchased a TP-LINK M5250 mobile router and set out to configure it, then most likely you will have a question, how to enter its settings. After all, TP-LINK M5250 is not an ordinary router that comes with a network cable. This is a mobile router, and only a USB cable is included with which you can connect the router to your computer. And I am sure that many are probably trying to enter the TP-LINK M5250 settings via a USB cable. They are probably looking for some kind of drivers, programs, etc.

But, everything is a little different there, now we will take a closer look at the process of entering the settings of the M5250 mobile router. Login to the settings, as in conventional routers, at the network address 192.168.0.1. When connected via Wi-Fi network. By the way, the router comes with a good step-by-step instruction. True, in English.

We go to the TP-LINK M5250 control panel

Turn on the router by pressing and holding the power button. If it does not turn on, then most likely the battery is just dead, connect it to your computer (or via an AC adapter) using a USB charging cable, and turn it on.

Next, let's look at everything in steps:

1Connect the device (laptop, tablet, smartphone) from which you want to enter the settings to the Wi-Fi network, which will be distributed by TP-LINK M5250. If the router is new, and you have not changed the name of the wireless network, then it will be standard. This is how it looks on a laptop:

The network is secured by default. And the factory password for the Wi-Fi network is indicated on the inside of the lid that covers the battery.

We look at the password, and specify it for connection.

Once we have connected to our router's wireless network, we can proceed.

2Open any browser, type the address in the address bar 192.168.0.1, and go to it. This address is indicated in the instructions for TP-LINK M5250.

An authorization page will appear, on which you need to specify a username and password to enter the settings. On TP-LINK M5250, the default username is admin, and the password isadmin... We indicate them, and click "Log in". If you have changed this data, and do not remember them, then you need to do a factory reset.

We should see a page with settings for our TP-LINK M5250 router.

That's all, we went to the router's web interface, where you can set any parameters: configure the Internet, Wi-Fi network, change the wireless network password, etc.

Everything is very simple and straightforward, just like in a regular router. Only in this there is no way to connect via a network cable, everything is via a Wi-Fi network.
