The modem is installed strictly in one place (in other places the signal is not available). The laptop is located in a different room and cannot be connected via cable. I bought a router to connect via WI-FI. But the signal is weak - low-power - 1 - 2, less often 3 divisions. I installed a "zigzag" (double square) antenna on the modem, the signal is less than "excellent". You can't put this on a router, it's versatile. It is not possible to experiment. Perhaps there is such an experience? With respect and gratitude - Alexander.
Answer
No, unfortunately there is no such experience. I looked at TEW-655BR3G on the Internet, there is also an internal antenna. There is definitely nothing to do. Is it possible to solder somehow, but this is a question for radio amateurs. But I think this is a stupid decision.
To be honest, I did not really understand your connection scheme, and what exactly needs to be strengthened.
