Few people know that the concept of a "smart" home was born precisely thanks to programmable bulbs. It was then that "smart" sockets, air conditioners, refrigerators and even kettles appeared.

TP-Link pleased at once with four models of smart lamps: LB100, LB110, LB120, LB130. Below we will figure out how they differ, what functions make them really smart. In the meantime - general information about TP-Link lamps.

  1. To connect the lamps to the Wi-Fi network and further control, you need to download a special Kasa program. There is a possibility of remote control of devices.
  2. They work on schedule.
  3. There is also a brightness control.
  4. Circadian mode. Assumes automatic adjustment depending on the time of day.

Let's consider each model in more detail.

LB100 characteristics

600 lumens brightness and over thirteen years' lifespan make the LB100 a very profitable purchase. Among the main features of the LB100:

  • Connects to wi-fi.
  • Supports mobile software
  • There is a brightness control.
  • Power saving mode.
  • Compatible with iOS and Android.

Specifications LB110

And this model is already a little brighter - 800 lumens versus 600. It also has a power saving mode. The consumer adjusts the brightness of the lamp independently. Power consumption is reduced by 80% compared to a 60W bulb. The lifespan has been extended to a fantastic 22 years.

Specifications LB120

It differs from the previous model LB120 by setting the heat in the range of 2700K - 6500K. A circadian mode is already supported, which simulates natural lighting very accurately and naturally.

Specifications LB130

  • Wi-Fi connection.
  • Convenient control from a tablet, smartphone.
  • A fairly wide range of brightness, heat - 2700K - 9000K.
  • Circadian mode.
  • Compatible with iOS, Android.
  • Reduces energy consumption by 80%. The quality of work and brightness are pleasantly surprising.

The LB100 light bulb consumes 8 W, the other three - 11 W.

What makes TP-LINK lamps really smart?

All four types are connected to wi-fi. It is enough to screw the device into a regular chandelier or floor lamp. LED lamps do not heat up, which means that they are absolutely safe for the child (the risk of getting burned is zero).

Thanks to Kasa, you can adjust brightness, control heat settings, change color (LB130 only). The latter function will be in demand at some themed party or holiday. You can make the room glow a pleasant blue. Or green, red. In short, millions of possible shades and colors.

The "smartness" of the lamps lies in the circadian mode mentioned above. It allows you to create an unusual "understanding lamp" effect, which burns in one color in the morning, another in the afternoon, and in a third at nightfall. Throw in some intuitive and useful things like turning off / on a lamp, monitoring energy consumption and you have a really cool device for your home. The cost of an entry-level LB 100 light bulb is about 2100 rubles (900 hryvnia).
