Restarting the phone when distributing the Internet to a computer with VPN enabled

Available: phone ZTE Axon 7 with Android 7.1 without root, operator MTS "Unlimited"; a computer with Windows 8.1 and a modified TTL. The distribution works both via USB and via WiFi without questions. But with an eye on torrents, I turn on a VPN from Whoer on my computer for testing through the Netherlands server for an unlimited period.

The first couple of weeks is a normal course, and then after a minute or two, the Internet disappears on the computer (writes that the connection is limited), and the phone is overloaded. I try another service - VPN Monster with the distribution of free keys, and everything repeats itself: a couple of weeks normal. and then the overload of the phone. I think: greedy VPN providers - I try the 24-hour free version of SaferVPN for testing, but here everything is too - limited and overloaded.

Now I have such a thought - this is MTS putting sticks in the wheels, but the phone has a VPN Speed program with w3bsit3-dns.com, and I have never had any problems with it. I tried to configure in several ways from the phone to distribute VPN, but it did not work.

Maybe you would advise?

Sincerely. Andrew.

Answer

A very strange case. I think that the problem is hardly in the Unlimited tariff and in the MTS operator as a whole. Yes, even after launching the VPN, they somehow record that the Internet is being distributed and block it. Perhaps the VPN connection is somehow aligning the TTL value. But why then does the phone restart? And why does everything work for several weeks?

Try ZenMate VPN. If possible, try to distribute the Internet from another phone. It is desirable, of course, through the same MTS "Unlimited". Well, you can put a VPN on another computer and connect it to your phone.

Maybe there is a heavy load on the phone after launching the VPN, or some kind of conflict.

Sorry for guesswork and no solutions. But I can't even imagine what the matter might be.

How did you change the TTL on the computer?
