No internet connection on Haier TV

Hello! Please help me figure out the problem. The TV does not go online, neither through Wi-Fi, nor through a LAN cable, from the TV when you do a network test (both LAN and Wi-Fi) it gives an error "WLAN connected"; "WAN Disabled".

When you connect to the network from a TV, even through wi-fi, even through LAN, an exclamation mark lights up next to the icon (wi-fi or Lana), that is, it seems to connect to the modem but without access to the Internet.

I tried to distribute 4G Internet from an iPhone in modem mode - the TV connects to the Internet without problems. Fiber-optic internet is installed at home, router (router) model - ELTEX NTU RG 1402G W.

All devices work via Wi-Fi. Connected without problems (phones, tablets, laptops), connected the laptop to the LAN - it also works, the speed is as expected by the provider.

TV model - Haier LE65K65OOU

ISP connection type: PPPoE.

Answer

Hello. Your ELTEX NTU RG 1402G W router is connected to the Internet. This is indicated by the "Connected" status in the control panel. Yes, and the Internet on other devices via Wi-Fi and LAN works.

Google for "Haier LE65K65OOU" finds nothing at all. I don’t know if you specified the model incorrectly. But there are Haier TVs with Smart TVs. True, I don't know what kind of system is installed there. Not familiar with this technique.

The photo shows that the Haier TV is connected to the router, but there is no Internet connection (WAN is disabled). I think there can be two reasons:

  1. The ISP is somehow blocking the TV's network traffic. But why and how is difficult to say. According to the idea, if the TV is connected via a router (and not directly), then everything should work.
  2. Something with DNS. This happens a lot on LG TVs. There, in the properties of your Wi-Fi network on the TV, or in the LAN settings (depending on the connection method), it should be possible to register static IP and DNS addresses. So write only DNS: 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4

Try it, if it helps. I have no other options.

Honestly, I heard about Haier TVs for the first time today. But since when distributing Wi-Fi from the iPhone, the Internet on the TV works, then it should also work through the router.
