Good day. I own a Tp-link TL-WR841N router. Latest firmware. It is connected to the PC itself, the Android prefix M18 bilink and smart Samsung - all by cable. The provider provides speeds up to 100 megabits. Speedtest measurements: PC 95/95, m18 and smart 40-50 / 95 megabits. Previously, I did not detect a loss of speed, measurements showed the same speed on PCs and gadgets. I don’t understand the reason.
Answer
Hello. I must say right away that your speed is good and I don't see a problem. And unless earlier on the Android set-top box and Smart TV the Internet speed was the same as on the computer. Most likely not, you just haven't checked.
I think that on a Smart TV and an Android set-top box, the speed is lower only because there are not such efficient network adapters, or because of the software of the TV and set-top box itself. I just don't see any other reasons. If there was a drop in speed over Wi-Fi, then there you can still refer to some kind of interference, signal, etc. And the speed is always stable over the cable. And I can't even imagine why she could fall (if it was a fall). 40-50 Mbps is not bad speed.
