Yes, there is such a problem. I've been asked several times in the comments.
The whole problem is that the display of file extensions is disabled. And it turns out that we do not change the file extension to .bat, but simply rename it, and we get "start.bat.txt". But we do not see ".txt", since the display of extensions is disabled.
First, we need to enable the display of file extensions, and then just rename the files, changing their extension from ".txt" to ".bat". And everything will work.
Turn on the display of file extensions in Windows 10
Open Explorer, or go to "This PC", click on the "File" menu item, and select "Change folder and search settings."
Next, go to the "View" tab, find the item "Hide extensions for registered file types", and uncheck the box next to it. Click the "Apply" and "Ok" button.
Everything, can now rename files to control the distribution of a Wi-Fi network from a laptop.
When you change the name of the file and its extension, a warning should appear that the file may not be available. Click "Ok". This means that you did everything right.
After renaming, the file should look like this:
If you have already added the required command to the file, you can run it. A command prompt window will open for a couple of seconds and disappear. The distribution of the Wi-Fi network will immediately begin, or vice versa, it will stop.
