Wi-Fi only works for the first 5-10 minutes on Windows 10

Hello. My laptop ASUS, OC - Windows 10. Only after turning on, rebooting or after hibernation can it connect to Wi-Fi and work for 5-10 minutes, then the connection is lost. A yellow mark is displayed. After the connection is broken, an attempt to connect again is unsuccessful, it says 'I cannot connect to this network' or a long download is taking place, and the white stripes disappear, which shows how well the network is catching.

I went into troubleshooting Windows, he announced that 'DHCP is not included in VirtualBox Host Only Network Adapter # 3', sometimes he writes that the ip is configured incorrectly. Googling I found out that this is a VirtualBox adapter. Surprisingly, the laptop was connected to wi-fi at the university via this adapter, and at home via 'Wireless Network 4'. Then I removed the problematic adapter (virtualbox) and the program itself. After that, that error disappeared, but another one began to appear, such as a problem with the wireless adapter or access point.

At the university, everything is quietly connected and sitting, when I can only work for the initial 5-10 minutes after turning on, rebooting, hibernation. There we have both open and protected. It does not connect to both, but works at home. I cannot contact the provider or administrator, there is also no way to reinstall Windows. Receive ip and dns is configured to automatically. I tried to write them with Google DNS, and also wrote typical ip, but nothing helped. Disabled antivirus and firewall. Also unsuccessful. It seems to me or the network is lost after some time due to a conflict with third-party programs? Please help me.

Answer

Hello. The problem is ambiguous. There are some tips for you. Which you may not have done yet.

1 Reset network settings. In Windows 10, you can reset the network settings through the options. In the "Network and Internet" section.

You can read more here: https://help-wifi.com/reshenie-problem-i-oshibok/sbros-nastroek-seti-v-windows-10/

2Prohibit the wireless Wi-Fi adapter from turning off to save power. This can be done in the device manager. How to do this, I wrote here. 3 Be sure to try the solution from the article: Wi-Fi turns off in Windows 10. The Wi-Fi connection on the laptop falls off.

If this does not help, take a screenshot of the "Status" window of the wireless network, at the moment when the Internet stops working. And attach it to your comment.

And yet, I do not really understand, is this a problem now with all Wi-Fi networks? Does Wi-Fi always work for only a few minutes and Internet access disappears?
