Hello. You needed to describe the connection diagram in detail. What modem? And most importantly, does the Internet from the modem work (when you just plug the cable into the laptop)? Without starting any connections on the computer. If the modem is configured correctly, and the Internet works from it, then there should be no problems with setting up ZyXEL Keenetic Start at all.
Reset your ZyXEL router first.
Just connect the cable from the modem to the blue WAN port of the router (most likely it is signed as the Internet). And the Internet through the router should already work. Including Wi-Fi.
But you can go into the settings and go through the setup through the quick setup wizard (NetFriend). Only during the configuration process, in the "IP Protocol Settings" section, in the "IP Address Settings" menu, select "Automatic". As in the instructions for setting up ZyXEL Keenetic Start.
