Wi-Fi router began to "lose" packets

Good afternoon. This situation arose.

There is an Upvel ur-325bn router. He worked tolerantly. But recently, packets began to disappear, even to the main gateway. At the moment I have no way to check. it's the router or not. But all other users of this gateway have no problem. Also, there are suspicions that the Wan port is damaged, or the cable itself. But I am not an expert in this area and therefore, I cannot understand what is wrong here. After all, for this you need to either connect the cable directly to the PC, which is impossible due to the arrangement of furniture, or try another router, which is also difficult at the moment. I will attach the trace and ping data to the description.

Help me figure it out, it is worth paying attention to the router, or looking for a problem in the cable (After all, there are twists on it, which I have already checked).

Answer

Good afternoon. Yes, there is indeed packet loss. But I didn't quite get it. 192.168.1.2 is the address of your UPVEL UR-325BN router. By the way, it would be nice to ping to it (ping -t 192.168.1.2). Is 10.101.0.1 already a provider? What is your internet?

In any case, I think that the problem is definitely not the connection between the computer and the router. If the cable (from the provider) has twists, or problems with the connector itself, the WAN port, then this is very bad. And packet loss can be due to this.

The simplest solution is to connect the cable directly to the PC and ping. Can borrow a laptop from someone, or transfer a PC to a cable. I am sure there will be packet loss as well. Then it is already necessary to solve the problems with the cable. Change it, compress it again.

If everything goes well directly, then you need to try with another router, or check your router with a different cable.
