IPhone from America does not connect to Wi-Fi (does not see the network from a distance)

Good afternoon! After reading all the posts about this problem, I could not find a solution.

The problem is this, I have an iPhone 6, brought from America (as stated by the seller (bought from hands)). The first time after turning on Wi-Fi on the iPhone, it worked perfectly. But, about a week ago, I stopped catching Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi connects near the router (if you stand right next to it) and if you go to the next room, it just stops seeing the network. And also, if you move away from the router and try to connect to the network, then it gives an error, they say, the password is not correct (and the password is correct! Because the network is automatically connected to the router itself). I tried all the methods, and "forget the network", and reset the network settings, and reboot both the router and the iPhone itself.

Answer

Good afternoon. Usually iPhones who come to us from America do not see Wi-Fi networks that operate on channels 12 and 13. But they don't see these networks at all. Even close to the router.

You have a strange situation. If you read my article on what to do if the iPhone (iPad) does not see the Wi-Fi network and comments on it, then you probably should have noticed that very often the iPhone does not pick up the Wi-Fi signal well, or only near the router (as in your case) because of the case. If your phone has a case, remove it. There are covers that jam the signal.

Also check your iPhone with other Wi-Fi networks.

Well, try changing the Wi-Fi network channel in the settings of your router. Put in some kind of static channel. But not 12-13. Save the settings and reboot the router.

Did you reset the network according to this instruction?
