I can't configure DHCP mode in Netis WF2780F router

The router is connected to the provider's DSL modem via DHCP. (By the way, the WAN port indicator does not light up, if you plug in the LAN cable from the computer, it is on).

The router itself works in Bridge mode and distributes the Internet via Wi-Fi. (Default) See WAN bridged file for settings.

At the same time, on the LAN ports, that is, there is no Internet (I can not understand what affects). If in the Setup-add-Channel Mode tab: I select DHCP, (save, see the WAN DHCP file), and then go over and configure DHCP (a different network address is needed) - I turn off the bridged mode and turn on DHCP - there is no Internet anywhere.

But to get back to the router settings menu, a new address is already in effect and I can use it to log in from the computer. It is not clear why in the default configuration (see WAN bridged) there is a check mark in the Port Mapping section against LAN_4. Maybe I didn't put something in the DHCP configuration. Worst of all, the manufacturer did not provide any advanced customization information. If you can tell me, I will be very grateful, tk. I myself have set up hundreds of routers, but I have never met such an incomprehensible one.

Answer

I have never configured Netis WF2780F. But the very scheme of connecting a router with a DSL modem is very simple and always works without problems and usually without additional settings. And you have not tried to simply reset the settings on the Netis WF2780F, then connect the cable from the modem to one of the LAN ports (you can try different ones) and check if there is Internet access from other LANs and via Wi-Fi. Then connect the cable to the WAN port and check if there is access to the Internet. Here is such a simple and primitive solution. It seems to me that everything should work.

By the way, the WAN port indicator does not light up, if you plug the LAN cable from the computer - it is on

This is strange. And if you connect a computer with the same cable to the modem (on which the automatic parameters for obtaining IP are set), will the Internet work immediately? That is, does the modem distribute the Internet without problems, issues IP addresses?

Maybe in Bridge mode, the cable from the modem needs to be connected to the 4 LAN port?

But it seems to me that you do not need to configure the Netis WF2780F in Bridge mode. I understand this connection can be disabled. We just configure it in DHCP (automatic receiving IP from the modem). Have you tried checking the boxes next to all ports in the Port Mapping section?

Since I do not know a specific solution to your question, I just expressed my thoughts and guesses. If there is any information, it will turn out to set everything up - write in the comments.
