Good afternoon. I gave my Asus n56 laptop for repair, where they changed my hard drive and installed Windows 10 (before that it was 8.1). After the repair, the laptop does not connect to the router, does not see either my networks or those of my neighbors (the phone and another laptop can see everything at the same time). BUT it turns out to connect to the access point from the phone - her laptop sees and connects with varying success.
I tried all possible solutions with drivers (Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless-N 7260 adapter): reinstalled, rolled back to the previous version, installed new ones from office. site, etc. The problem persists.
I think to go back to the service center and figure out what they could have done wrong there. I would like to at least understand what such a problem may be connected with, so that in the event of a repair, I do not change, for example, the adapter or reinstall the OS in vain. Thanks.

Hello. It seems to me that the reason is obvious here - they did not connect or damage the Wi-Fi antenna (cable) that connects to the Wi-Fi module. From the Wi-Fi module that connects to the motherboard, there are usually two wires to the Wi-Fi antenna, which is located under the lid of the laptop. Perhaps you just forgot to connect the antenna to the module, or you connected it incorrectly. Although, when replacing a hard drive, it is hardly necessary to disconnect the antenna.
