Why won't Windows 10 automatically connect to Wi-Fi?

Connecting to Wi-Fi in Windows 10 usually doesn't raise any questions at all. Everything is simple and constant (well, if there are no problems with the drivers). But there are times when Windows 10 doesn't want to automatically connect to a wireless network. It turns out that we connected to Wi-Fi, specified a password, and after turning on the laptop again, we need to manually establish the connection again. And if we are talking about a home wireless network, then it is not very convenient to manually connect every time.

I already wrote about how to connect your Windows 10 laptop to Wi-Fi, and when you first connect to a wireless network, the Connect automatically checkbox is already ticked. Unless you removed it, of course. This needs to be checked. It is enough to pay attention to the connection window when you will establish a connection again. Or, you can disconnect from the network we need:

And then, reconnect. Be sure to check the box next toConnect automatically.

If this method does not help, then you can still try "Forget the network".

Click on the internet connection icon, and select Network parameters.

In the new window click on Managing Wi-Fi Network Settings.

Select the required network and click on the button "Forget".

Well, connect to your network, and during the connection process, check that the Connect automatically checkbox is ticked. Maybe there are some other solutions, or secrets, but I don't know about them yet. If there is new information on this problem, I will definitely add it to the article.
