I installed a video surveillance system Svip-n204 and connected it with a cable to the router. A computer directly connected with a cable from a router plus another computer with a wi-fi receiver and the video surveillance system itself is working fine, but the TV and phones either slow down or stop working altogether, and these devices show that the wi-fi signal level is good. Only you disconnect the video surveillance cable from the router, everything starts working normally again.

Hello. In this situation, I can only assume that the TP-LINK TL-WR740N router does not withstand the load, and because of this, the Internet works so poorly. It's not really a powerful, budget-friendly router. And 2 computers, a video surveillance system, a TV and telephones are too much for him. I just don't see any other options.
Although, it's strange why computers work fine. But it is not very clear what kind of problem is on TV and smartphones. How much speed drops, etc. You can experiment with changing the Wi-Fi network channel. Maybe some kind of interference.
And it would be good to find out if these problems appear due to the amplifier. Are the TV and smartphones connected through it?
