TP-Link TL-WR941ND or TP-Link TL-WR841ND which is better? Namely, which antennas are better in general: the first has 3 at 3 dBi, the second has 2 but at 5 dBi?

Answer:

I will not explain to you which is better and which is worse from a technical point of view, but if we consider TP-Link TL-WR941ND, and TP-Link TL-WR841ND, then you will hardly notice the difference in Wi-Fi network coverage. As far as I know, the third Wi-Fi antenna on the TL-WR941ND is used for higher speed. I would take the older model, TL-WR941ND, it is a little more expensive, but it will be better. In terms of power, and possibly the same wireless signal strength.

I had TL-WR841ND. Stood at the entrance to the apartment. So, in a large three-room apartment there were places where Wi-Fi caught very poorly. But I did. But everyone has different conditions (walls, obstacles, etc.). If there are problems with coverage, it will be possible to install a repeater.

If anything, read another article on choosing a Wi-Fi router for home.
