Honestly shoveled your blog, but did not encounter a similar problem. Please help.

In short, I can't connect to the internet via my pc. I connect to the Internet via a wi-fi adapter. The house also has 2 android phones, smart TV, laptop. Everyone has a connection. On a laptop and on a PC, they are identical, from one box of Windows7.

The problem appeared after changing the router. Delivered by Asus RT AS 55U, dual channel. (2,4 and 5 Gh) / Before that there was Tp Link WR 741ND. I set the laptop to a 5GHz frequency, android, smartphones, to 2.4., I connected the TV with a cable. In general, everything works except for the computer.

Because the adapter can only receive at a frequency of 2.4 - then the computer sees only this network. The signal level shows excellent. What's more strange, it happens that the Internet appears for a short time - from 4 to 10 seconds.

I sin on the adapter, but I don't understand how to check and test it. I plan to buy a 2-band adapter, now I would like to deal with this problem, maybe the problem is not in the adapter.

Answer:

You have not written the most important thing, how is the connection process on a PC? At what stage does the error appear? And what is the mistake? Or Wi-Fi always connects for a few seconds, and then what? This is the most important piece of information that you did not write.

Well, you need to check how the computer will connect to another access point.
