The router does not connect to the ISP

I had the Internet connected via a laptop to the provider, I decided to connect through a router, registered all the settings, cloned the poppy address. The router shows that everything is ok, but there is no ping, on the computer it says that the connection is without the Internet. I checked it on different routers, the same problem. And if to the beech directly, then everything is ok. The provider says that they have a binding to the poppy address, but I entered the poppy address manually and cloned it. Does not help. By the way, I connected the ps3 via a cable, drove all the settings, it worked, but the next time I start the same problem as on the router. Help me figure out what is the reason?

Answer

What type of connection does the provider use? Do I need to register an IP address, login, password? Or do you have a normal dynamic IP with MAC address binding?

According to the idea, everything should work without problems through the router, if you correctly clone the MAC address on the router. You can see the article on how to clone (change) the MAC address of the router. It's strange why the router can't connect to the ISP.

There is another way, call the provider's support, and ask them to change the MAC address of the laptop to the MAC address of the router (indicated on the router itself). Or maybe you can do it yourself through the provider's website (it all depends on the provider). And do another reset on the router.

True, there is a risk of being left without the Internet at all.
