Hello. LG 42lm620s-ze TV without built-in Wi-Fi tried to find the original adapter nowhere. There is no way to connect wired internet. Is there any way to connect via laptop or phone?

Answer

Hello. Basically, you can try connecting your LG TV to a Wi-Fi network via a laptop. If the laptop is connected to a Wi-Fi network, you can try to connect the TV to the laptop with a network cable, on the laptop go to Network Connections, hold down the Ctrl key, select "Wireless Network Connection", and "Local Area Connection", click on one of them with the right click and select something like "Configure Bridge".

But, I will tell you the best option. You can buy an inexpensive Wi-Fi repeater (this is the best option), or an inexpensive router, and use it as a Wi-Fi receiver for your TV. This option will not cost more than buying an original Wi-Fi receiver for your LG TV.

You can buy, for example, this repeater: https://help-wifi.com/tp-link/ustanovka-i-nastrojka-retranslyatora-tp-link-tl-wa850re/. Connect it to a Wi-Fi network, and connect the TV to a repeater. The TV will receive internet via a network cable.

Or buy an inexpensive router and use it as a receiver. The setup of such a scheme was described in this article: https://help-wifi.com/sovety-po-nastrojke/router-kak-priemnik-wi-fi-dlya-kompyutera-televizora-i-drugix-ustrojstv/.

From inexpensive, and working I recommend Netis WF2411.

I cannot be 100% sure that these solutions work specifically in your case, but everything should work.
